Rose gold plating wears off far too easily

I have been wearing these frames for a year and had them replaced once for the plating wearing off. My second pair is doing the same thing. I love the style and comfort of these frames, but they just dont measure up in durability. Also I saw one site had them listed as childrens frames, which they are not.
